About me

My name is Daniel James, I am 37 years old currently working as a Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).

I am currently enrolled in my first year of a degree course with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David studying a BSc in Cloud Computing.

I am thoroughly enjoying the course so far, learning new skills and I am getting to use some of these in my day to day work. As the course progresses through the years, I hope to broaden my skills in the cloud engineering and architecture space to further my career.

In my spare time I enjoy relaxing with my family and kids, watching films and tv shows. I am an avid gamer and previously used to run my own streaming channel on Twitch. I also enjoy walking my dog and since learning Python in one of my modules, I enjoy trying my hand at new Pythong "things" to advance these skills for personal and professional satisfaction.
